The Alley is a safe, inclusive, non-toxic adult gaming community. Most of our members are Millenials or GenerationX striving to balance work, family, and the games we love! Many of our community members also stream! We offer a dedicated section to discuss all the various complexities related to streaming & content creation.
Our goal is to create a positive gaming community that offers a safe and fun environment for everyone. Playing multiplayer games with "randoms" can be daunting! Rather its young kids that don't fit your vibe, rage quitters, or someone that would rather berate you than play the game - its discouraging. That's why we are committed to providing our members with the best gaming experience possible by curating a community of adults that share similar values. Hi, I'm Alikat!
Most call me Ali for short! I'm a GenerationX (technically Xennial) Gamer mom of 2 amazing boys (tween & pre-teen). We are a "gamer family" as my hubby plays & streams as well! I'm a "casually sweaty" player, which basically means I can "lock in" and go for the win and also laugh it off when we lose. I'm a community gamer that enjoys a variety of games (though Fortnite seems to have most of my attention right now).
By day I'm a sales engineer. When I'm not working or spending time with the family I'm gaming, streaming, or creating content (or attempting to)! I started the Alley originally as a central place for our D2K Warzone regiment to connect & squad up. It quickly evolved into a community of a variety of CHILL gamers & streamers.
Not only do we SQUAD UP, we discuss our kids, pets, diets....basically LIFE with others that understand the unique idiosyncrasies of being an ADULT GAMER.
Aside from the daily games with the community, I stream on Twitch 2-3 times a week. I mostly play Fortnite or other games that can be enjoyed with the community. Although every once in a while I'll do in single player or indie game.
My passion is the Educate, Empower, & Equip. To that end, I'm always ready & eager to share the things I've learned & are learning. I host a monthly series called So You Want to Be a Streamer that aims to help those thinking about or just starting their streaming journey.

While our love for gaming is what mostly brings us together, we do more than "squad up". This is NOT a "looking for group" server! We are looking for people are want to be part of a community.
We host planned and impromptu community game nights, regular watch parties, contests, and exclusive giveaways.
